Step into our Andalusia. Live, discover, and enjoy with us.

Coín itself

Is a lively village in the Valle del Guadalhorce, inland in the province of Málaga. With approximately 25,000 inhabitants, it is large enough for all daily amenities, yet small enough to maintain its authentic character.

Life here still revolves around the local market, family businesses, and terraces where people know each other. The surroundings are characterized by hills, orange and olive groves, and wide views over the Andalusian landscape.

Coín boasts a rich history that dates back to Roman times and was later shaped by Moorish influences. You can still see this layered history today in the narrow streets and traditional buildings in the center.

What makes Coín special is the combination of tranquility and accessibility. Within 30 minutes, you can reach Málaga, Marbella, and the beaches of the Costa del Sol, while here you experience the space and pace of the countryside.

For those who want to experience the real Andalusia but still have everything within reach, Coín is a place where life feels in balance.

Mountains, nature, and adventure

If you love nature, you're in the right place. A short drive away is the impressive Caminito del Rey, a spectacular walk along steep rock walls and deep gorges. Thrilling, yet easily accessible and absolutely worth it.

On warm days, Barranco Blanco offers refreshment. Here you'll find natural river pools among the rocks, a wonderful place to swim and relax.

Additionally, the nature reserve Sierra de las Nieves is nearby. This UNESCO-protected park offers beautiful hiking trails, mountain peaks, and vast panoramas. Here you can experience the tranquility of pure Andalusia.

Culture & History

Andalusia breathes history. In Ronda, you stand above the famous gorge and enjoy one of Spain's most iconic views. In Mijas Pueblo, you stroll through narrow white streets with views of the Mediterranean Sea.

A day trip to Granada takes you to the world-famous Alhambra, with its Moorish palaces, gardens, and centuries-old architecture. Córdoba is also within reach, where the impressive Mezquita-Catedral is a unique example of Andalusia's rich history.

For a combination of culture, beach, and gastronomy, Málaga is an ideal destination. The city offers an atmospheric historic center, museums like the Picasso Museum, cozy squares, and a relaxed coastline.

The coast, but local

The Costa del Sol is known for its popular resorts, but we recommend the more local and relaxed spots. Here, you dine among Spanish families and experience the authentic atmosphere of the region.

In El Palo, you'll find El Tintero, a traditional fish restaurant where waiters walk by with trays full of fresh fish. You can choose what you like right away.

On the boulevard of Pedregalejo, there's Pez Tomillo, perfect for a long lunch with a sea view and a modern Mediterranean cuisine.

For a panoramic view of the cliffs, Las Yucas in Torrequebrada is a beautiful spot. A bit more upscale, but still relaxed.

If you really want to have your feet in the sand, La Cubana in Carvajal is a great place for coffee or lunch right on the beach.

Even in winter, it's special.

Andalusia is a destination for all seasons. In the winter, you can ski in the Sierra Nevada, about a two-hour drive away. Morning on the slopes and later in the day enjoying the sun on a terrace—the contrast makes this region unique.
